Description

The "Documentenserver Klimawandel" (Repository on Climate Change) gathers material from research projects on climate change and adaptation. All documents are freely accessible and available for free. They include a variety of formats and content such as reports, brochures, manuals, training materials, pictures and movies. First material was incorporated from the KLIMZUG projects. KLIMZUG stands for "Climate Change in Regions for the Future". This project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and was part of the High-Tech Strategy for Climate Protection of the Federal Government. The Climate Service Center 2.0 and Hamburg University Press, the Open Access publishing house of the Hamburg State and University Library, designed the repository. It is funded and operated by the Climate Service Center, formerly a project of the BMBF, now as the Climate Service Center 2.0 part of Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG).
