La Biblioteca Digital de la Universidad Externado es una iniciativa institucional coordinada desde la Biblioteca General encaminada a recopilar, organizar, almacenar, preservar, visibilizar y dar acceso a la producción académica, científica y cultural producida por los distintos actores que conforman la comunidad universitaria, en aras de realizar procesos de gestión de conocimiento para promover y posicionar a la Universidad Externado de Colombia en el ámbito nacional e internacional como parte de la excelencia académica.
