Description
Vilnius University Institutional Repository is the Open Access repository of all University researchers' scientific publications, doctoral dissertations and their summaries. It was started as metadata database and provided bibliographical information on publications published by University researchers, students and other employees since 1998. Until 2015 it was a database of more than 54 000 bibliographic records of books, scientific articles, conference reports, patents and other documents.From 2003 until 2015 there were 4995 electronic theses and dissertations collected, 97 per cent of which were openly accessible to everyone. In the beginning of 2015 all metadata and the full-text files were moved to the new institutional repository platform, based on national repository e-infrastructure eLABa.
