„Archivum Medii Aevi Digitale“ (AMAD) is a non commercial Open Access publishing infrastructure hosted and operated by the university library of Frankfurt am Main, the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz and the Ludwig Maximilian university in Munich. It consists of a repository and the Medieval Studies blog (https://mittelalter.hypotheses.org/) AMAD makes books and articles from all disciplines that study the middle ages available. It supports diamond and green open access and creative commons licences. All its services are free of charge and open for scholars, institutions and publishing houses. Publications and meta data are managed by an interdisciplinary editorial board that organises and carries out different forms of review.
