El Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín comprende un conjunto de documentos digitales en textos completos y parciales, cuya conformación se encuentran clasificados en colecciones, teniendo como propósitos el de colectar, organizar, preservar, disponer en línea y difundir toda la producción científica e intelectual generada dentro de la Universidad. Su arquitectura está basada en Tecnología Open Source y soportada con el software libre Dspace CRIS. El Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín se encuentra bajo una Licencia Creative Commons 2.5 AR.
