OAR: Marine Institute Open Access Repository

The Marine Institute is Ireland’s national agency for marine research, technology, development and innovation. The Institute has established an Institutional Repository which collects preserves and makes fully and freely available the research outputs of the Institute relating to Ireland’s marine and freshwater resources. The repository collection includes peer reviewed articles, scientific and technical papers, reports, and conference papers, etc., allowing full text access in accordance with copyright permissions. An important objective of our online repository is to facilitate online open access to the research publications supported by National and European funded marine research programmes. The Marine Institute is responsible for promoting the sustainable development of Ireland’s marine resource through co-ordinated and focussed research, leading to sound and accurate management advice for industry, the Government and the European Union.
