This military based subject repository contains nearly 1 million citations and over 140,000 full-text declassified reports that document the results of Defence-sponsored research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts. A Private STINET exists, but is not Open Access due to the sensitive nature of its contents. A sophisticated set of search and browse functions are available for technical reports, DTIC Thesaurus and Corporate Sources involved in related work. The site is complemented by a wide range of supporting documentation. A range of Special Collection items, grouped in subject categories are also available on this extensive site.
