Description

GEO-LEOe-docs is an interdisciplinary repository for Earth Sciences, Mining, Geography/Cartography and Maps. GEO-LEOe-docs stores (peer reviewed) Articles, Books, Online-Journals and Theses. GEO-LEOe-docs additionaly offers various concepts for scientific communities, to start their own publication environment. For example communities can run their publication environment as a collection within GEO-LEOe-docs or they perform an independent platform only technical based on GEO-LEOe-docs. GEO-LEOe-docs is an integral part of the Virtual Library GEO-LEO (www.geo-leo.org) which offers searching and browsing in about 6 million geoscience and mining related bibliograhphic records. GEO-LEO and GEO-LEOe-docs are performed by the Lower Saxony State and University Library Göttingen (SUB) and the University Library "Georgius Agricola" of the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (UBF). The Project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
