Description

IRIS is a digital library in history of science and technology. IRIS gives open and free access to printed texts from the nineteenth to the beginning of the twentieth century. It focus especially upon the production and dissemination of sciences and technology during this period. We are also dedicated to enhance the scientific and industrial heritage of the North of France and the Wallonia. The collections are intended for researchers, students, stakeholders working to promote scientific and technical culture and anyone wishing to discover the history of science. The interface offers virtual exhibitions based on pictures available in our collections.
