تم تطوير المكتبة لتكون مصدراً معلوماتياً شاملا لرصد سيرة الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز وتوثيقها وتقديمها للمهتمين من الأفراد والباحثين على المستويين المحلي والعالمي بشكل منظم وموثوق. والعمل جارٍ على تطوير محتوى المكتبة بمختلف أنواع المصادر التي تتناول حياة الملك الشخصية والرسمية مثل الصور والكتب والمقالات الصحفية والفيديوهات وغير ذلك من المواد التي يتم اقتناؤها بشكل مستمر. The library has been developed to be a comprehensive information source to document and present the biography of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to interested individuals and researchers locally and internationally in a methodical and reliable manner. The work on the library content is being developed with various types of sources dealing with the king's personal and official life, such as photographs, books, newspaper articles, videos and other material that is constantly acquired.
